Since the end of the 1940 we have been producing in different variations for ladies' and men's trousers, suits, jeans and denim: glued waistbands, sewn bands with visible or concealed seam, and bands with short stoppers (a special rubberized application to the waistband insert helps hold the shirt material, front and back, providing a neater appearing waist) or printed motifs. Our “Sprungelastische Einlage” is a special developed waistband insert. This interlining prevents unsightly waistband roll-over in men's and women's pants and slacks.
We base our manufacturing from waistband on wash values demanded by our customers (up to 95°C bio-wash), the lengthways elasticities and cross-stability of the band and we take into account requirements for print and woven tapes, design and material selection.
We have matching pocket linings for our waistband collection. Depending on the requirements for use and design, the materials are available in different materials and threads as well as various bindings (twill, fish bone etc.).
The fly piece inside the trousers protects the wearer's skin from direct contact with the zip. The material matches the trousers and waistband. We offer fly pieces in our current collections together with a matching waistband and pocket lining.

Corded piping and stitched wire-casings
We produce elastic and non-elastic corded piping ex 5 mm width with varying cord sizes.
Specifically for manufacturer of underwear we provide a multitude of special tapes, such as stitched wire-casings and piping.
We are also producing different kinds of tapes with scallop seam, plaited ribbon and tubing tapes.
Tapes with Ruffles
We produce ruffles and frills in many different versions and at various folding intervals. While the folding interval of our article Giglio is 8 mm, it is 12 mm at Lory, 3 mm at Mini, 8 mm at Nelly M and 12 mm at Nelly. All ruffles/frills are available in an elastic version and a stitching is possible midway or marginally.
Printed ribbons
We print tapes and ribbons with different methods. Writing, motifs – our customers provide us a sample, which can also be multi-coloured or phosphorescent.
Tapes with punching and perforation
Our slotting process makes you manufacturing process more simple. We can furnish tapes with different perforations and punching for particular folds or tucks.
In addition to the well-known field of application of punching tapes in the clothing industry (e.g. Slotted Waistband Fusing) we offer our punching tapes also for technical uses.
Tapes with gluing and lamination (glued tapes and self-adhesive)
We laminate tapes with different technology which enables to stabilise and connect different materials. Inter alia we laminate special fleece, fabrics as well as double faced adhesive foil on the cut textiles.
Fixable inlays are used, for example, in trousers, jackets or shirts, they are produced by us from weaves, knitted fabrics or fleece in all widths. The inlay is laminated as required. They can be activated with heat. After hardening, the inlay stabilises, for example, the collar, and gives it its shape.
Armhole Tapes had a special flexibility and are available in combination with a fusible.
Our special tape with a gutta-percha coating is especially ideal for leather clothing or for fur processing. We make the coated tape from the materials of viscose or cotton. Because of the relaxed weave binding and the corresponding coating, the article is adhesive on both sides and does not spread. In a few seconds the coating hardens and shapes, fixing and supporting the material.
Trimming
We cut into length with heat or cold. Heat-sealing avoids fraying of the material due to sealing of the synthetic fibres. We apply both methods for each kind of tapes, in all widths and lengths. |
