The management team at Topp Textil GmbH is undergoing a reshuffle. After more than 23 years in operational management, shareholder Dr. Stefan Topp (55) moved to the company's newly formed supervisory board on March 1, 2026. In his new role, he will focus more on the strategic development of the entire Topp Group. In addition to its headquarters in Durach near Kempten, the group has included Topp Italia, two other production companies in Romania, and, since 2022, a start-up for hemp fibers in Hungary and its own sustainability fund.
Under the leadership of Dr. Stefan Topp, Topp Textil has developed from a manufacturer of ribbons for the clothing and home textiles industry into an innovative supplier of special textile products for a wide range of industries and applications. Today, textile solutions from Topp are installed in almost every German premium vehicle.
As of January 1, 2026, the management of Topp Textil GmbH has been expanded to include four internal executives. Operational responsibility will lie with:
Alexander Bachmann (strategy, development, purchasing, marketing, and sales)
Ann-Kathrin Schönmetzler (production, quality management, logistics, and shipping)
Jürgen Müller (human resources, controlling, and IT)
Franziska Wölfle (finance and accounting)

As Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Managing Director of Topp Textil Holding, Dr. Stefan Topp will remain closely associated with the company. There, he will continue to contribute his many years of experience, industry knowledge, and strategic perspective to the development of the group of companies. Jan Wohlschiess, Sascha Büchner, Karl-Heinz Krümmelbein, and Josephine Topp and Leopold Topp from the fourth generation of the entrepreneurial family were also appointed to the Supervisory Board.
