Visit by the "Freie Wähler" parliamentary group

Four members of parliament and a specialist officer were informed about our sustainability strategy and textile hemp.

Yesterday, we had the honour of welcoming the parliamentary group of the "Freie Wähler" to our company. The exchange focussed on our sustainability strategy and the diverse possibilities of textile hemp. Present were the members of the state parliament Ulrike Müller, Werner Schießl, Johann Groß, Marina Jakob and Roman Althaus, the expert advisor for agriculture.

Three of the MPs themselves come from the agricultural sector and were particularly impressed by the ecological and material potential of industrial hemp. However, it was also important to all of us that the cultivation of industrial hemp must also be economically viable for farmers.

Together, we realised that the potential of industrial hemp should be brought more into the focus of industry, agriculture and science. This is where politics can play a decisive role - through targeted networking of stakeholders and valuable start-up work to re-industrialise one of the most sustainable crops! We are therefore always pleased when politicians take an interest in industrial hemp and broaden their horizons in this regard!
