Piping and Cord Piping

The Topp Textil range includes a variety of different piping and piping tapes. These Topp®Pipe tapes are always made to order according to individual customer requirements.

Warning functions, but also attractive design - these requirements are met by Topp pipings in the workwear sector. Topp Textil also develops and produces textile tapes of this kind for decorative, otherwise functional incorporations, such as for brackets. Piping and keder tapes can be equipped with different elasticities depending on the manufacturing process and thus facilitate the further processing of the garment manufacturers.

Keder tapes are often used in the automotive industry. Designers use them to decorate seats, headrests, side panels and armrests. But keder tapes are also used in the furniture industry and in the leisure sector.

Depending on the requirements for longitudinal elasticity, Topp Textil produces piping for car manufacturers in straight, semi-diagonal and diagonal, in glued, welded and sewn versions. In order to be able to better incorporate the Topp®Pipe tapes into curves, these can be punched out on request, e.g. in a jagged shape. The piping core, which can be extruded or stitched from different polymers, is available in full and hollow versions. Here, round cords are available in diameters from 1 mm to 4 mm. Topp also uses cords made of different fibres and thicknesses such as cotton, acrylic or elastic materials. In the area of piping tapes, real leather, imitation leather, tunnel tapes and various woven, knitted and crocheted fabrics are processed.
