Printed Textile Tapes
-
The Topp Textil Group has been working with its own printing processes since the 1950s. Printed textiles and tapes are not only visually very appealing, but can also convey a message or technical details. A logo, a picture or lettering can be printed on textiles using different techniques. In recent decades, the range of tasks has expanded and the Topp Textilgruppe is able to carry out different single and multi-colour prints.
The areas of application are divided according to Topp's three main business areas, whereby textile printing from Topp is processed extensively, especially in the clothing and home textiles industry. For the apparel industry, the in-house design team develops new collections based on current trends as well as specific customer specifications. In the home textiles industry, the printed straight or bias tapes are often found in mattresses, quilts and similar applications. Here, the logo and the corresponding company name are often printed on the ribbon.
Topp uses different technologies to apply the individual prints to the tapes. The Topp Textile Group has the following textile printing processes at its locations: Gravure printing, letterpress printing (also called flexographic printing), screen printing and transfer printing.
In addition to the individual printing processes, Topp has the option of using various finishing and fixing equipment as well as different finishing processes. These enable the textile print ribbon to achieve optimum stability and suitable washing values.
