Woven Filtration Tube
-
Various tubes and fabrics are used in the filter and printing industry. Thanks to Topp's in-house tube weaving mill, endless circular tubes can be woven without lugs and thickenings as well as various ready-made tubes can be sewn, welded or glued.
Textile tubular fabrics are used to retain a defined size of particles or to ensure a defined diffusion of liquids. This area of application is one of Topp Textil's younger business fields.
The company has the capability to process open structures in mono- and multifilament and also staple fibre. Ultra-fine fabrics from the company's own weaving mill as well as dense materials with air permeabilities of less than 20 litres can and are also produced at Topp Textil.
In the printing industry, woven circular tubes have the advantage of being able to be printed endlessly on the tube during rotary screen printing without having to interrupt the repeat. In addition, the tube has the same technical properties at all points, as there are no seams or interruptions. A made-up tube or a tube with a selvedge cannot offer this advantage. In addition, endless round hoses have no predetermined breaking points, as there is no seam. This means that this type of tube can also withstand high loads and enormously high pressure.
